Welcome, I am JBdB.

JBdB is the creative identity of Leipzig-based artist, music producer, audio engineer and educator Johann Glameyer. 

My work combines a deep passion for music with technical expertise, creative collaboration and more than a decade of experience in educational and artistic projects.

After studying audio production and audio engineering, I began working across a wide range of musical and audiovisual contexts – from music production, recording, mixing and mastering to beat production, arrangement, sound design and collaborative artist development. I have also contributed audio work to film and documentary projects.

While my musical roots lie in Hip-Hop, my work is not limited to one genre. I also draw inspiration from electronic music and a variety of other styles.

Soulful melodies, organic textures, groovy drums and the balance between mellow and energetic sound aesthetics remain recurring elements throughout my music.

Alongside my work in music production, I have many years of experience designing and leading workshops, music programmes and creative projects for young people and adults. This educational background continues to shape the way I collaborate: with patience, clarity and a strong focus on creating an environment in which people feel comfortable exploring their ideas.

JBdB brings these different experiences together. Whether I am producing a track, developing an artist’s sound or introducing a group to music production, my goal is always the same: to combine creativity, quality and genuine human connection – and to help people trust their ideas and their own creative process.
